Cultural Exchange Programme

Study with local students and enjoy an authentic British experience in our new State School Cultural Exchange Programme.

Be fully immersed into life in the UK, studying academic subjects alongside local students whilst improving English in a natural real-world environment.

This programme is fantastic for students wishing to experience a different education system and style of teaching while forming friendships, building confidence and developing into mature young adults.

Programme Duration 2 weeks - up to 6 months
Academic Background Average or better
English Level Intermediate or higher
Status All nationalities

Programme Features

  • Study an academic programme alongside local British students.
  • Safe, accessible locations in mid-size towns and cities.
  • “Good” or “Outstanding” rated UK schools.
  • Live with a warm and welcoming British family.
  • As much support as you need from our Local Student Advisors.
  • Arrival and departure airport transfers.
  • School report at the end of the programme (programmes not accredited by the British Department of Education).

State School Features

Our Cultural Exchange Programme takes place in local British State Day Schools.

State Day Schools in the UK follow the national curriculum. HSI Partner schools will all offer a good standard of teaching and have good academic facilities and opportunities for sports and arts.

  • Medium class sizes (25 – 30 students per teacher)
  • Variety of extra-curricular sports and activities open to all students
