HSI has been a leader in the provision of educational opportunities and guardianship for international secondary school students for over 30 years throughout Ireland. Our A-Team, based in the heart of the city, Temple Bar, Dublin City Centre is growing and we are looking for more committed, dynamic and positive ‘Go-Getters’ to get on board!

Our Student Supports Crew are the beating heart of our business! They work hard, have fun and, most importantly, love supporting our students, schools and host families. Our Student Advisors are hybrid professionals, problem solvers, creative solution makers and, above all, are Team Players!

These roles can be Full-time and Part-time with the potential to be based in our Dublin office (2 days per week, min) or to be more regionalized nationally. The position does require travel across Ireland during the school year mainly. Travel expenses in addition to salary.

What you will be doing!

  • Being our Support Champion – the face of HSI with our students, host families and schools
  • Onboarding & Supporting our students as they settle in to their new environments and throughout their placement; ensuring each student has a positive, enjoyable and successful HSI experience
  • Liaising and Collaborating with our overseas partners
  • Conducting and Facilitating monthly visits to schools, host families and students
  • Troubleshooting and Creatively maintaining regular contact via social media with students outside of the monthly visits
  • Navigating our CRM to ensure we have the most up to date records of communications with students, host families and schools
  • Formulating and Creating progress and welfare reports on each student
  • Researching, Sourcing and Recruiting host families and supporting the assignment of students to these host families
  • Providing assistance to operations with Induction, compliance, safeguarding and other administrative HSI activities, especially at times of the year when schools are closed

What we need you to have!

  • Permissions to work Full-Time in Ireland
  • Fluency in English – reading, writing, speaking and listening (CEFR C1 or C2)
  • Full, clean driving licence and car (this position involves regular travel throughout the country)
  • An optimistic outlook and an appetite to get stuck in and get involved!

What would be desirable! But if not, we can give you!

  • Familiarity with/ Knowledge of the Irish education system
  • Experience within an educational setting!
  • Successful candidates will undergo Garda Vetting and will undertake Level 1 training in Children First & Child Protection
