Klara makes the most of her last few weeks...

Hi and this is my fourth blog already!

The last months have been very incredible. A lot has happened in my life. Just before Easter I changed my host family because I had some complications with my old host family. And I definitely do not regret the decision; my new host family is just awesome.

I have my two host parents (a host mum and host dad) and they have a little daughter who is five years old. They were friendly and nice from the beginning on, so that it felt like home immediately and as if I would have lived there forever. In the holidays we had a great Easter and we went together to their beach house at the Seven Sisters for a couple of days. It is so amazing here!

I also went with my friends to London for a day in the Easter break. We could not really do anything because of COVID but we went to Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Big Ben, Oxford Street and to Kingscross Station.

Well, this is still a lot but without COVID we would have done more and definitely go on the London Eye. However, we still had an amazing day and a lot of fun.

On another weekend two of my friends and I went to the Marina, the harbour. We walked around for a bit and then had a great picnic again. After this we went to the water and sat there for a bit. And at the end we went all playing Mini Golf in black light and with a lot of neon colours.

This week we have all our big exam. Therefore, we are all a bit stressed. However, we are still enjoying our rest time here because we all have to leave in around three to four weeks again. We are all very sad about that but for the weekends on we will definitely enjoy the last few weeks. Luckily, we have one week of half term in between. In that week we want go to London again and just spend our last time together.

I am very sad that I have to leave in four weeks. However, I am also happy to see my friends and family in Germany again but more sad about leaving my friends and my host family!
