Elite Boarding School Program (Ireland)
 | Most Boarding schools in Ireland are a combination of campus residence and host family – they accept day students and boarders, although HSI works with a select number of schools that are residential only. They are privately owned, but receive some maintenance from the Irish government. These schools are located throughout Ireland and seek to develop the student as a whole. This involves close supervision to ensure an optimal balance between the academic & social elements of the programme. The main advantages of the boarding schools are: Accepts students from the age of 12 – 18 Stay for 1,2,3 terms or longer On-campus accommodation with Irish students Private schools with excellent reputations Smaller classes Comprehensive range of subjects Excellent facilities including sports facilities Resident pastoral and supervisory staff High percentage of graduates go to university in Ireland or the UK Most schools are coeducational, accepting students of all faiths Religious and non-religious options |
