Public & Catholic Day School Program - Australia

A public school in Australia is a school that is owned, administered and funded by the state government/local authority and provide free education for Australian students.  However, these schools do charge tuition for non-Australian citizens.  Tuition costs vary depending on the location and community, but in all cases tuition is included in the total package price provided by High Schools International Australia.  Public schools cater to students of all academic levels, priding themselves on the Australian mandate that all students deserve a high quality education.

A Catholic school is similar in nature to a public school, with the exception that the curriculum includes religious instruction.  Students of all religions are welcome.

Each school closely follows the curriculum and standards as set out by the respective State Ministry of Education.  Australian public schools are the most prevalent type of school in Australia.
